COVID-19 Crisis Mortgage Support

In light of the current situation, I wanted to inform you about the measures that we are taking regarding mortgage support during the COVID-19 crisis. We want to continue to provide our clients/customers the very best service and reassure everybody that we are still open for business. You can get in touch with us here!

Remote Services

As far as I am concerned it is business as normal during the COVID-19 crisis.

For the last 5 years, I have worked remotely anyway which means that I do not meet clients face to face. I made the decision to work this way because I take on a lot of mortgage clients both nationally and internationally and would find it difficult to meet anyway. Due to Lincolnshire being a rural area it also made sense not to drive around the countryside seeing clients every day, so we adopted the remote way of working some years ago. A much more environmentally friendly way to do business and one whereby clients find it easier to get in touch with me at every step of the mortgage process.

Now that Coronavirus / COVID-19 is a real threat I will continue to serve clients remotely. It means that we do not meet in person but we discuss everything over the telephone at a time to suit you. All documents are transferred by email and we use a mixture of telephone and email thereafter.

I will guide you throughout every step of the way as usual.

Lender Services

Mortgage Lenders are rising to the challenge to provide continued support to mortgage brokers and our clients during the Coronavirus / COVID-19 crisis. It is clear that lenders want to provide mortgage brokers with an uninterrupted service whilst still taking care of the needs of their valued staff members.

Lenders have in many cases implemented a secure remote working policy for their staff so that they can work from home.

Business development managers have gone 100% telephone-based which is good news. It means that we are still fully supported.

Surveying Services

We are currently experiencing acceptable levels of service. Lenders are keeping in close contact with their surveying partners.

Advice

If you need mortgage advice then speak to us! Why risk seeing somebody on a face to face basis?

We will continue to monitor the latest government advice in relation to the coronavirus. The main thing is for you to keep safe!

Those clients that already own a property and are on the lenders SVR should contact us. In most cases, you will be overpaying. Contact us without delay!
